Important Updates for our Disney event

We continue to stay informed of the circumstances created by COVID 19. In light of the recent rise in cases across the country and out of an abundance of caution, we have made the difficult decision to move our Disney Meeting to virtual.

Conferences and curriculum created with you in mind.

Since 1977, Nurse Anesthesiology Faculty Associates (NAFA) has been a recognized leader in continuing education opportunities for CRNAs, delivering the highest quality, value, and service available to anesthesia providers.

What do you get at a NAFA conference? For one, there’s travel to exciting destinations. We keep our cutting-edge sessions to the morning, allowing you take the afternoon to explore and enjoy excursions with family and peers — all while receiving superior learning opportunities and earning credit hours. And during those times in between conferences, you can always access NAFA Now, our new online portal offering CE on your own terms, on any device.

NAFA and AANA / NBCRNA CE and Recertification Requirements:

Nurse Anesthesiology Faculty Associates (NAFA), a leader in continuing education, is pleased to inform clients that all NAFA events are designed to meet Class A credit requirements. Once NAFA programs are approved by AANA, and so noted on our website, clients will be able to apply their earned CE credits to meet Class A and/or Class B recertification requirements.  Additionally, in planning CE offerings, careful consideration is given to include content congruent with the NBCRNA’s “Core Module” topical areas.

There’s a reason I keep coming back: Great educational content, excellent presenters, and all at a beautiful resort. What more can you ask for?

– Kelly Shantz, CRNA

NAFA is the continuing education arm of the VCU Department of Nurse Anesthesia, ranked the nation’s top program for the nurse anesthesiology specialty by U.S. News & World Report.
