NAFA’s 5th Annual Anesthesia Crisis Management Course

The 5th Annual Anesthesia Crisis Resource Management (ACRM) covers the advanced concepts and principles related to anesthesia with an emphasis on crisis management. It provides nurse anesthetists with the opportunity to experience ‘hands-on’ crisis situations, which include overseeing the environment and working effectively with operating room team players. Located in the Department of Nurse Anesthesia’s state-of-the-art Center for Research in Human Simulation, didactic lectures will be conducted in multimedia classrooms that offer the best high-definition video monitoring.

  • Continuing education credits: 15 Class A
  • Registration fee:
    • $799 through August 28, 2019
    • $825 after August 28, 2019.

Course Location Overview

Discover history, adventure and an easily accessible location in the historic Richmond region. Here, more than 400 years of American history live on through magnificent architecture, monument-lined cobblestone streets, and world-class museums – for an experience that’s anything but textbook. But the area makes history in other ways, too. Brave the gorgeous yet intense James River, which distinguishes the Richmond region as the only urban setting with Class IV rapids. It’s just one form of outdoor recreation for thrill seekers. See how the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts is expanding its world-class offerings. And with more than 900 restaurants and diverse shopping, the Region is ideal for weekend getaways and vacations. The city of Richmond is located a mere 15 minutes from the Richmond International Airport.

Please note that schedules, times and venues are subject to change.
