Grow your teaching, research and leadership capabilities in higher education.

This year, we add the Nurse Anesthesia Faculty & Administrator
Workshop, designed for professionals working in academia who
seek to grow their teaching, research, and leadership capabilities
in the environment of higher education.

Located at the offices of VCU Nurse Anesthesia in Richmond, when the workshop is over you’ll have plenty to enjoy: hikes near (or dips in) the James River, a nationally acclaimed restaurant scene, breweries, outdoor recreation, and much more.

  • Continuing education credits: 15 class A credits
  • Registration fee:
    • $649 through April 4, 2019
    • $699 after April 4, 2019

Course Location Overview

Discover history, adventure and an easily accessible location in the historic Richmond region. Here, more than 400 years of American history live on through magnificent architecture, monument-lined cobblestone streets, and world-class museums – for an experience that’s anything but textbook. But the area makes history in other ways, too. Brave the gorgeous yet intense James River, which distinguishes the Richmond region as the only urban setting with Class IV rapids. It’s just one form of outdoor recreation for thrill seekers. See how the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts is expanding its world-class offerings. And with more than 900 restaurants and diverse shopping, the Region is ideal for weekend getaways and vacations. The city of Richmond is located a mere 15 minutes from the Richmond International Airport.

Please note that schedules, times and venues are subject to change.
